WHO IS SPEAK TO BEE?
Speak to Bee is run by Bethany Burrell. Bethany and her husband started Speak to Bee in July 2020 with a view to provide a personalised Speech Pathology service that is unique and tailored specifically to your needs. Bethany is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University in Bundoora. Bethany has worked in Mildura and Warrnambool Victoria since graduating. Bethany loves dogs, LEGO and Harry Potter. She enjoys helping others and has a passion for making a difference in peoples lives. Bethany belives that nobody should be treated differently and everyone should have equal access to whatever they may need.
ABOUT SPEAK TO BEE
Speak to Bee supports any participant with an NDIS plan as long as the participant is self-managed or plan-managed. Speak to Bee will work with you and your family to support you in reaching your NDIS goals. Speak to Bee specialises in providing assessment, intervention and therapy plans in the following areas:
- Speech sounds/articulation
- Expressive (what a person says) and Receptive (what a person understands)
- Pragmatic language and social skills
- Augmentative and Alternative Communication
- Mealtimes/swallowing
WE WILL COME TO YOU!
Speak to Bee will come to you in the place you feel comfortable. Speak to Bee will support NDIS participants from Terang and Timboon to Mortlak, and Hamilton, Portland, Warrnambool and surrounding towns in the South West Victoria region.
WHAT IS COMING!
Speak to Bee is currently in the process of obtaining a puppy to support Bethany in therapy and assessments. This puppy will undergo specific therapy assistance dog training.
